Storytime!

You know that feeling when you just know something isn’t right?

Yeah, that was me. A part of me always knew the cushy 9-5 office world wasn’t built for someone like me. But I played along like a "caged good girl" because that’s what you’re β€œsupposed” to do, right?

You see, what I didn’t know then was that I’d been learning to dim myself long before that office ever got its hands on me.

In other words, society has a funny way of teaching little girls to box themselves in… to be quieter, smaller, or, should I say, β€œappropriate”.

And I was a good student, the teacher’s pet.

Fast-forward back to the corporate life, there I was.

Watching brilliant women, including myself, be overlooked, underestimated, and dismissed. So I did what I could to be the office morale booster.

The one who’d brightened people’s day…

Whether it was with being the Bailey Brownies Baker… yes, brownies with booze β€” shh, don’t tell HR.

Or the one who lit up the room because someone needed a listening ear.

But deep down, I knew.

There was so much potential sitting untouched within me. And my intuition was getting louder by the day, echoing in my ear.

Corporate was the
final straw.

The night everything changed

In December 2019, I stopped ignoring the inner alarm bells. I quit the job that was suffocating my creativity, my potential, and my mental health.

All without a plan, safety net, and being in survival mode, knowing that I hit my limit and it was time to move on.

That same night, at my boyfriend's Christmas party, a fortune teller looked at me and said I'd have a successful career in something creative.

Including saying that my spirit animal is a white raven.

I thought she meant my Let's Play YouTube channel.

Spoiler: it never took off. πŸ˜„

The rabbit hole that changed everything

After almost a year of some much-needed self-care and soul-searching, a simple Google search… looking for more freedom, creativity, and a way to be of service.

It led me down a rabbit hole to copywriting and my first mentor, who’d soon be a 2022 Marketer of the Year.

I dove headfirst into training, and it proved something I had always suspected…

You don't have to be sleazy to sell.

You can be ethical, human-first, and, dear, I say, lowkey have fun with it.

Even though I still found emails to be icky… oops.

Well, that was until a year later…
I was selected for a scholarship in an email strategy program led by a Forbes-featured mentor.

And that was it, the veil lifted.

*cue the β€œWhole New World” song*

Emails weren't for selling exclusively β€” they're a place for community.

Even better, a community where your people get you and thrive from your mission.

That's when I knew... THIS was how I wanted to serve.

Blame being relationship-first. The doors that started opening

Word started spreading...

But more than that, doors started opening.

I found myself in rooms I used to only dream about.

Posse Fest Live, where Jordan Gill of Systems Saved Me gave me a shoutout during her presentation, followed by an Indian dinner with a group of powerhouse women I'll never forget.

Bloom Conference
, formerly Big Dream Conference, where the women in that room became something close to a business family…

AND a post-it note stuck to a mirror unknowingly planted the seed that would eventually grow into my second business, Muse MarΓ©e.

Bloom Together and a personal invitation to Ellen Yin's mastermind lunch and community photoshoot open a world of friendship and to what’s possible.

Founder's Table mastermind dinners allowed me to feel I belong, and speaking at The Residency, where shifting the email narrative allows others to scale their business 1 step at a time.

Including the local Seattle community…

Talking at WEbiz Collective meetups and showing up at their events, retreats, and creating intentional conversations with women building their passions and legacies.

These weren't small (of many) networking moments because they were a confirmation to me.

My frizzy vision got SO much clearer the more I put myself out there, and the pivots got more intentional.

And I knew exactly who I was here for.

Today, it all led to YOU.

The woman who gives a frick about her community.

Who's built something from her heart, as a brand, a following, a mission worth showing up for.

Who's herself fully everywhere else but whose inbox still feels like a generic puppet stranger wearing her name tag.

You don't need convincing that email marketing matters, because you know it does.

You need someone who can take the lead, get to know your shining self before touching a single word or strategy.

And make your inbox feel as Golden as everything else you've built.

That's where I come in.

I'm Isabelle, your email strategist, trusted sidekick, and the woman who believes your personality isn't boring because it’s THE non-negotiable to your legacy.

Kicking all the fricking icks to the side, while being connection-first, that no cookie-cutter templates or AI can mimic!

So, are you ready to make your inbox feel as Golden as you?
